The Beethoven Project, represented by our coordinator Dr. Adrian Quessada from the Instituto de Cerámica y Vidrio (ICV-CSIC), actively participated for another year in the Raw Materials Information System (RMIS) Workshop 2025, organized by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC). The workshop took place on 23–24 September in Brussels, Belgium.
The RMIS Workshop brought together experts, policymakers, and stakeholders from across Europe to exchange insights on the role of raw materials in driving sustainability, innovation, and strategic autonomy. A key focus of the discussions was on how to transfer skills to both today’s workforce and the next generation of raw materials experts within European boundary conditions.
By joining this forum, the Beethoven Project reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Europe’s raw materials knowledge base, fostering sustainable solutions, and contributing to the European Green Deal and digital transition.
