We are pleased to announce that the BEETHOVEN project partners actively contributed to the IEEE International Magnetics Conference (INTERMAG 2026), held from April 13 to 17, 2026 in Manchester, United Kingdom.

A cornerstone of the global magnetism research calendar, the conference brings together leading researchers from around the world with interests spanning all aspects of magnetism and magnetic materials, while showcasing the latest advances across the full spectrum of fundamental and applied magnetism.

Several BEETHOVEN partners delivered invited and contributed talks highlighting recent advances and scientific breakthroughs:

  • W-type Hexaferrites: An Attractive Ceramic Permanent Magnet?
    (J. Frandsen, P. Namangalam Subrahmanian, M. Christensen) — Invited lecture
  • Correlation between Magnetism and Stacking in Sr Hexaferrites
    (V. H. Sosa Fierro, S. Gallego)
  • Influence of Low Oxygen Partial Pressure on Phase Formation and Magnetic Properties of W-type Hexaferrite
    (P. Namangalam Subrahmanian, J. Frandsen, A. Povlsen Laursen, J. Simonsen, M. Christensen)
  • Magnetic Properties of M-type Hexaferrite Nanoparticles
    (B. Muzzi, M. Boldrini, M. Albino, F. Fabrizi de Biani, A. Gerace, C. Innocenti, D. Delmonte, F. Albertini, C. Sangregorio, C. de Julián Fernández)

The event brought together more than 500 attendees, including researchers, academics, and students. The full conference programme, including talk and poster summaries as well as the complete list of authors, is available here: https://intermag2026.org/

These contributions reflect the strong engagement of the BEETHOVEN consortium in advancing research on hexaferrite materials and magnetic technologies.

We warmly congratulate our partners on their outstanding contributions and look forward to continued progress under the BEETHOVEN Project!
