Excited to share the strong participation of BEETHOVEN Project partners in the 14th Joint European Magnetic Symposia (JEMS 2025), held on 🗓️ August 24-29 at 📍Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Joint European Magnetic Symposia (JEMS) is Europe’s leading and most comprehensive conference on magnetism, covering a wide spectrum of topics including novel magnetic materials and their applications.

The BEETHOVEN Project was actively represented by our own Dr. Adrian Quesada who co-organized Symposium 01: Energy efficient and sustainable magnetic materials for applications and presented a poster titled “Advancing the sustainability of the sintering process for the production of SrFe12O19 ceramic magnets”.

In addition, several other oral and poster presentations were delivered by our BEETHOVEN partners on the following topics:

  • “Micromagnetic Simulations of FeCo Nanowires in the Presence of Strontium Ferrite Crystallites”D. Berkov, S. Erokhin, General Numerics Research Lab.
  • “Interface engineering as a tool for the magnetic hardening of core-shell ferrite nanoparticles”– C. Tejera-Centeno, G. Singh, E. Calle, A. Asenjo, M. Jaafar, D. MartĂnez-MartĂn, S. Gallego, ICMM, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones CientĂficas
  • “Effect of precursor morphology and size on the magnetic performance of aligned SrFe12O19 permanent magnet”– P. N. Subrahmanian, J. Simonsen, M. I. Mørch, M. Christensen, Aarhus University

The event brought together more than 700 attendees, including researchers, academics, and students. The full conference schedule, including talk and poster summaries as well as the complete author list, can be found here: https://jems2025.eu/home

Participation in this prestigious conference not only provided a platform to showcase the latest research outcomes, but also highlighted the BEETHOVEN Project’s contribution to advancing global discussions on novel magnetic materials.

We warmly congratulate our partners on their outstanding contributions and look forward to continued progress under the BEETHOVEN Project.
